Using SAA Tool
Is SAA Tool really free?
Yes. Every tool is free, with no account, no watermark and no daily limit. The only limits are short per-minute limits on the server checks, to stop abuse. The site is paid for by ads and voluntary support.
Do I need to install anything or sign up?
No. The tools work in any up-to-date browser, such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iPhone and iPad. There's nothing to install and nothing to sign up for.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Every page works on phones and tablets. Because file tools do the work on your own device, a very large PDF or a batch of big photos can be slow on an older phone. A computer is faster for heavy jobs.
Which languages is the site in?
Menus, categories and tool names are in English, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, Spanish and French. The help text on tool pages, the guides and the glossary are in English.
Files and privacy
Are my files uploaded?
No. PDF, image, QR and text tools process your file in your browser, so it stays on your device. PDF OCR and Image to Text download a text-recognition engine the first time, but your file still isn't sent anywhere.
What do the online tools send?
Only what you type into them, such as a domain, IP address, web address or port, plus the usual request details every website sees. How SAA Tool works lists every online tool and where it sends the request. How SAA Tool works
Do you keep my files, text or look-ups?
No. We don't store them, and we don't build profiles of visitors. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, keeps standard short security logs.
Does the site use cookies?
SAA Tool sets no cookies of its own. Google AdSense may use cookies to show and measure ads, and visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first. Privacy Center
Accuracy
How accurate are the calculators?
They use standard formulas and exact conversion factors, and show how the result was worked out where it helps. Results are general information, not financial, legal or medical advice, so check important figures with an official source or a professional.
Why does my converted PDF look different from the original?
PDF to Word, Excel and HTML rebuild the page from the text and boxes inside the PDF, so fonts and spacing can shift. Scanned PDFs are pictures, so run PDF OCR first. Each tool page lists its limits.
Why do network results differ from other sites?
Checks run from the Cloudflare data centre nearest to you, and DNS answers can be cached for minutes or hours. Speed tests also depend on your Wi-Fi, other devices on your network and the time of day.
Problems and requests
A tool doesn't work. What should I try?
Reload the page, update your browser and try another browser. Turn off extensions that block scripts, and check that your file isn't password-protected or damaged. If it still fails, report the problem and say which tool, device and browser you used. Report a problem
Can you add a tool I need?
Yes, please ask. Describe the job, an example of what you'd put in and what you'd expect out. Requests that help many people are built first. Request a tool
Can I use the tools for work?
Yes. You can use them for personal and business jobs, as the Terms of Use describe. Only use files you have the right to use, and keep a copy of your originals.
How do I report a mistake in a guide?
Use the "Tell us" link at the end of the guide, or the Report a problem page. Say which sentence is wrong and, if you can, link to the official source.
